An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3250, entitled:
"An admi.nistrative ordinance relating to the Civil
Service Bureau of the City of Saint Paul, approving and adopting
rules and regulations therefor, " -
approved August 20, 1914, as amended.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3250, approved August 20, 1914,
as amend�ed, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out
Section 8 A 11, where it appears in Section 1 of Council File No. 240241,
Ordinance No. 13990; and by substituting in lieu thereof the following:
Section 8 A
"11 Appointment to any position i.n any of the classes listed under
the heading "Manual and Maintenance�"` in Grade 15 and up
in Section 6 of �hese Rules shall be made at the ten-year step
of the appropriate Standard Range as set forth in Section I B
of Ordinance No. 6446. After an appointee to such a position
has appeared on the payroll for 1040 hours in this ;position,
" he may be granted an 9ncrease in salary of one salary step
� ' (to the fifteen-year step�. "
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after December 28, 1968.
