THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES �ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 6446, approved Janua.ry 23,
1925, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding,
immediately after that part of Section VI B 4 which reads as follows:
"4 The average of the percentages of change obtained in
accordance with 1 and 2 above. "

"5 The per cent of increase or decrease of th�C��.tyis straight
hourly rate, occurring from January of th current year
and January of the preceding year, of Unskilled Laborer
as shown i.n Section II, Group G, of this ordinance. "
Section 2. '�hat said ordinance, as amended, be and the same
is hereby further amended by strikin.g out subdivision (b� where it appears
i.n,Section VI B; and by changing the lettexsof subdivi.sions �c� and (�) to
(b� and (c), respectively; and by adding a new subdivision (d) as follows:
"(d� in the Cityis salary rates for positions in the manual and
. maintenance occupational group, using the information
obtained in accordance with 5 above, and such per cent of
change shall be applied uniformly to all positions i.n such
group;".
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after December 28, 1968.
