A.n ordinance amending Ordinance No. 7607, entitled:
"An ordinance fixing the duties and responsibilities
and the minimum quala.fications for the various classes of
positions i.n the Classi.fied Service of the City, "
approved February 13, L935, as amended.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 7607, approved February 13,
1935, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by
striking out of the minimum qualifications in the specifications for
Architect III, Civil Engineer ILI, Civil Engineer III--�Pater Department,
Structural Engineer ILI, and Traffic Engineer III, the word "si.g", and by
substituting in lieu thereof the word "four".
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty days after its passage, approval, and publication.

This ordinance reduces the minimum qualifications from 6 yearst
professional experience to 4 yearst professional experience for
Architect III, Civil Engineer III, Civil Engineer III--Water Dept. ,
Structural Engineer III, and Traffic Engineer ZLI.
