An Ordinance pertaining to pubiic da,nce
halls and dancing, the regulation thereof
and amending Chapter 404 of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section l . That Sections 404.03 and 404.06 of the Saint
Paul Legislative Code be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 2 . That Section 404.04 be and the same is hereby
amended by striking same in its entirety an.d substituting in
place and in lieu thereof the followin.g language:
"NOT TO ADMIT CERTAIN PERSONS. No person to whom
a permit has been issued shall permit to be or remain
in any public da.n.cing place any intoxicated person,
any prostitute, any person of known. immoral ' ty, or any
unmarried person under the age of 16 years�unless
such person is accompanied by a parent or guardian,
nor any unmarried person more than 16, and under the
age of 18,: years unless such person is accompanied by
a parent or guardian or presents the written consent
of his parent or guardian to the officer in charge of
such _da.n.ce, and every such written permit shall be `
retained by such officer. "
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force thirty (30) days from and after its passage , approval and
publication.
