An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3250, entitled:
"An administrative ordinance relati.ng to the Civil
Service Bureau of the City of Saint Paul, approving and adopting
rules and regulations therefor, "
approved August 20, 1914, as amended.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3250, approved August 20, 1914,
as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out
of Section 6, where they appear in Grades 10 and 15 u.nder the heading
"Clerical Group", the titles "Duplicating Equipment Operator I" and
"Duplicating Equipment Operator IIt', respectively; and by inserting said
titles in Grades 13 and 19, respectively, under the heading "Clerical Group".
Section 2. Tha.t said ordi.nance, as amended, be and the same is
hereby further amended by inserti.ng in Section 6, i.n Grade 2? under the
heading "Clerical Group", the title "Duplicating Equipment Operator
(Health Bureauj".
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force on
the first day of the first payroll period following thirty days after its
pas sage, approva.l, and publication.

This ordinance changes the gradirig of the titles Duplicating Equipmeat
Operator I and Duplicating Equipment Operatc�r II �rom Grades 10_ aad 15,
respectively, to Grades 13 and 19, respectively. ThiB upgrading ie aa►eceasaxy
. in order to snccessfully recruit persor�el far these positions.
This Qrdinance also creates a title of Duplicatii�g.Eq��nent Operator
(Health Bureau) in Grade 27. This will be a oae-poaition claes iavel*�in�,the
responsibility for all dup�.ieating work in the Health Bureau. �
