Please find attached RFP 4.63 which mod�es footing C.52/2.53. This RFP was prepared by HGA at the request of
Mortenson. It is our understanding MoRenson made the request because installation of the footing as shown in the
contcact documents is difficult and cosfly.
It is eapected the RFP will result in a credit to the Owner as it greatly reduces the difficulry and amount of labor
and materials involved with the work. If this is not the case the work is to be installed per the original documents.
Additionally, Mortenson is to evaluate the schedule impacts of delaying the start of this work as shown in the bid
documents until the RFP pricing and review are complete. If this will negatively impact the schedule the work is
to proceed. Please advise.

Ramp at grid C.52/2.53. Replace the footing and pier specified on detail 1213-1I with a
grade beam spanning between the existing walls at elevation 56'-9" (see attached details).
This modification will result in a reduction in the cost of excavation.

Enclosed are copies of subcontractor quotations and our price breakdown. We aze requesting a Change
Order to increase our Contract Amount by Three Thousand Eight Hundred Fourteen and No/100 Dollars
(+$3,814.00). Please let me know if you need additional information or clariPication on the enclosed. If
we are to proceed with this added work, please issue a contract change order.
The amount quoted includes onty the cost of the changes identified herein. Changes to the contract not
specifically identified as revisions are not included in this proposaL and are excluded. Mortenson reserves
the right to submit a proposal for additional costs and time related to the impact of this change on
unchanged work or for the effect of this change in combination with other changes.
