THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the proper Ctty offtcers are hereby authorized
and dtrected to pay out of the Tort Liabtlity Fund 0035-421, to Mrs.
Beryte B. Costel�o, the sum of $400.00, in full settlernent of her claim
for damages and {n3uries sustained by reason of a fall on a defectiv�e

stafrway near the pavilion at Phalen Park, Saint Pau1, Minnesota, on
July 19, 1970.
Section 2. That sa9d sum shall be patd to the said claimant
upon her executi.on and delivery of a release tn full to the City, in a
form to be approved by the Curporation Counsel, for all damnges and
in�uries sustained in the manner aforesaid.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall also take effect and be
in force thirty days after its passage, approval and publicat�on.
