An ordinance approving the project of acquiring real
estate consisting of Lot 27 in Block 6 in Como Prospect
Addition for Loeb Lake Park Site, Open Space Land
Project N'o. Minn. OSA-81 (DL) .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and
Public Buildings having reported to the Council that the real
estate described as
Lot twenty-seven (27) in Block six (6) in Como
Prospect Addition,
is required by the Department of Parks and Recreation and Public
Buildings for Loeb Lake Park Site, Open Space Land Project No.
Minn. OSA-S1 (DL) ; that the estimated cost of the acquisition of
said real estate is $425.00, and the esti.mated market value thereof
is $425.00; and the Comptroller has certified to the Council the
manner in which the funds may be made available; that the Council
hereby approves the project for the acquisition of the said real
estate for the aforesaid purpose and directs that the same be
acquired fo= such purpose by the Committee on Lands consisting
of the Mayor, the Purchasing-Agent, and the Commissioner of Parks
and Recreation and Public Buildings, if the same can be acquired
by purchase at a reasonable price, and it shall so report to the
Council, the cost thereof to be paid from PIR Code 6000, to be
reimbursed from Fund 9769-501-001, provided, however, that in case
the Committee cannot procure said land at a reasonable price, then
it shall so report to the Council, and in that event, the Council
hereby orders and directs that condemnation proceedings be instituted
under the provisions of the City Charter to secure said real estate.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty days from and after its passage, approval and publication.

Enclosed please find an ordinance approving the purchase
of Lot 27 in Block 6 in Como Prospect Addition for Loeb Lake
Park Site. This ordinance is required by Section 302 of the
City Charter.
Also enclosed please find resolution pertaining to the
above land. I suggest that the resolution be approved by
the City Council without waiting for the final adoption of
the above ordinance. After the resolution has been adopted,
please forward to my attention the Registered Property Report
pertaining to this land for purposes of title examination.
