An or ance amending Ordinance No. 6446, entitled:
"An administrative ordinance fi.xing the com-
pensation rates of certai.n city positions and employments, "
approved January 23, 1925, as amended.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CI'�'Y OF 5AINT PAUL DO�S ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 6446, approved January 23,
1925, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking
out, where it appears�in Section V, the paragraph which reads as follow.s:
"In accordance with Chapter 729 Laws of Mi.nnesota for 1969, and
Chapter 798 Laws of Minnesota for 1969, and on the recommendation
of the Senior Judge of the Municipal Court, the Council hereby fixes
the annual salary of employees holding the title of Court Reporter and
performing the duties of a Court Reporter, at $14, 652 per year. " ;
and b3r substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"In accordance with Chapter 729 Laws of Minnesota for 1969, and
Chapter 798 Laws of Mi.nnesota for 1969, and on the recommendation
of the Senior Judge of the Municipal Court, the Council hereby fixes
the annual salary of employees holding the title of Court Reporter and
performing the duties of a Court Reporter, at ��.5,385 per year. "
Section 2. This ordinarice shall take effect and be in force on the
first day of the first payroll period following thirty days after its passage,
approval and publication in accordance with Council File No. 256706 approved
December 15, 1971, which authorizes this wage increase to be retroactive
to January 8, 1972.
