AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22 OF THE SAINT
PAUL LEGISLATIVE CODE PERTAINING TO SIGN AND
BILLBOARD CONTRACTORS.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1.
That Cha.pter 22 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code be and the
same is hereby amended by deleting Section 22.02 therefrom, and
inserting the following in lieu and in place thereof:
� 22 .02 . License Requirement for Sign and Billboard
Contractors
1. Licenses for Sign and Billboard Contractors
Any person, firm or corporation desiring to engage in
the business of soliciting, accepting or performing the
work involved in installing or erecting, repairing, ma.in-
taining or constructing of any display structure within
the limits of the City of Saint Paul must first obtain a
license as provided in Cha.pter 1 of this code.
2 . General Regulations for Licenses
All regulations and informa.tion concerning applications,
method of obtaining, fees, renewals, revocations, pena.lties
and other administrative regulations pertaining to licenses
shall be as stated in Cha.pter 1 of this code.
3. The Licensee sha.11 keep on file with the City of
Saint Paul certificates of insurance showing that there is

in force a policy or policies of insurance, with the
licensee and the City as r�amed insureds, providing
automotive public liability coverage in the amount of
$100,000.00 BI/person, $300,000.00 BI/accident, and
$50,000.00 PD/accident, and non-automotive public lia-
� bility coverage in the amount of $250,000.00 BI/person,
$500,000.00 BI/accident, $150,000.00 PD/accident and
$200,000.00 PD/all accidents during the policy period.
The licensee sha.11 further post with the City of
Saint Paul a bond in the pena.l sum of $10,000.00 con-
ditional upon the restoration to its original condition
of all public property, public improvements, or rights
of way which ma.y be used by the licensee in the perform-
ance of its work. Failure to maintain insurance and
bond will be cause for suspension or revocation of
license.
