An Ordinance Amending the 1973 Budget
and to Provide for Supplemental Appropriations .
The Council of the City of Saint Paul does ordain:
Section 1. That pursuant to and in accordance with the procedure
set forth in Section 10.07.1 of the City Charter, and upon certification of
the Mayor that additional revenues are available in excess of the estimates
_ 1 of revenue adopted within the 1973 Budget, as amended, the Council of the City of
" Saint Paul does hereby revise the 1973 Budget so as to provide a supplemental ap-
�' propriation for activity 03005 - Youth Service Bureau in the Department of
Community Services with the additional appropriation in the amount of $40,000.00
to be delineated as follows:
Department of Community Services

03005 Youth Service Bureau
461 City Cont�ribution $40,000.00
and further that the item in the Financing Summary noted as:
Gener$1 Revenue Fund Balance - Not Dedicated be
increased in the amount of $40,000.00.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication.

Re: Availability of revenues in excess of those estima.ted in the
1973 budget to finance $40,000.00 for the Youth Sexvice Bureau.
This is to certify that there are additional funds in the General
Revenue Fund Balance - Not Dedicated to finance $40,000.00 for the
Youth Service Bureau as outlined in the attached Council Ordinance.

Dear Sir:
The City Council �ave first reading today to an ordinance
amending the 1973 Budget to provide su�plemental apprapriationa
for the Department of Cammunity SArvices - Youth Service Bureau
in the sum of. $4Q,000. It was also noted that the additional
funds are made available from the General Revenue Fund Balance -
Not Dedicated, and prior to ado.ption of the ordinance, the
Council would like a breakdown of the remaining funds in the
General Revenue Fund Balance.
