and employments, " approved January 23, 1925, as
amended.
THE COUNCIL .OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1.
That Ordinance No. "6446 , approved Ja�tzary 23, 1925, as
amended, be and the same is hereby further .amended in the
following particulars: �
B.y inserting in Section V under "Professional Group"
in Grade 45 the title: Director of Consumer Affairs;
By inserting in Section V under "Professional Group"
in Grade 38 the title: Consumer Investigator III;

I have recently reviewed the recommendations made by
the Civil Service Department relating to job specifica-
tions, job titles and grades for the Office of Consumer
Affairs and which are contained in the attached ordinance. �
I have also reviewed this subject with R. Scott Davies
and it would be my recommendation that these job titles
and accompanying grades be adopted.
If any member of the Council has any question regarding
this ordinance, please contact me.

the understanding that the staff complement of the Office
of Consumer Affairs be not increased beyond what is funded
for 1974 without Council approval."
