An ordinance granting additional sick leave
to -�ohn Dorr, a firefighter, who was injured in
the course and scope of his employment on
January 14, 1962.
THE COUNCIL OF THE GITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section l. That John Dorr, a firefighter, who was injured
in the course and scope of his employment on January 14, 1962,
is hereby granted 45 days additional sick leave pursuant to the
authority invested in the Council of the City of Saint Paul by
Section 12.10 of the City Charter.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
30 days after its passage, approval and publication.

Section 12. 10 of the City Charter, we submit the foflowing:

John Dorr to be removed October 26, 1973

Re: John Dorr, John Zilliox and George Karel
Dear Mayor Cohen:
Pursuant to your instructions, the office of the City Attorney
has, this day, drafted ordinances for the above firefighters
and policeman for benefits whereby they will be granted an
additional 45 days of sick leave.
These ordinances will take effect approximately 45 days after
their introduction at Council , and so , approximately by the
lst of December these men can anticipate receiving an additional
��" "working weeks" of sick leave.
