RF'P 4�Rl changes the manhole suznp for the pazkzng ramp draunage system from fiherglass to precast concrete. As you know, we have adjusted ous previous proposal of Januaxy 26 1996. This letter summ�rizes the value of the wark as agreed with Susan Jones of CPIvIT 2/20/96. It is our understanding that this vaiue is approved. We have connpletecl much of this work at this time. As wlth our base bid, we have z�ot iucluded any of the undertloar plumbing piping, subsoil drainage puuxps, or any work associated with the subsoil dischatge valve pit or pump subsoil drainage sump other than excavation and backfill for the concrete strucLUres. We have not included fumishing or installing the S' d'zameter precast concrete sump, ar subsoil dischatge valve pit as shown. Since there is no Dra.inage Aggregate listed under Mn/DOT specffication 3l 49.2H, we tzave a5sumed that the Drainage A.g�regate at the verfical drazncage composite strips as shown on 1 I/C742 is Caar�e �ilter Aggregate per Mz�/DOT 3144.2H. We would suggest that rigid PVC pipe be used for the drainage pipe instead of the �orrugated polyethylene for its strength characteristics.
