An Ordinance Amendin� Chapter 40 of the
Building Code Entitled Dwellings - Garages."
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1.
Tha.t Section 40.00-1-1 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code be
amended by deleting this section i�. its entirety, and substituting
in lieu thereof the following:
"Section 40.00-1-1. A lication. An application sha.11
be ma.de to the Building 0 jicia o taining permission there-
of before a permit shall be issued for the erection of any
rivate garage where the floor area exceeds One Thousand
�(1,000) square feet. Where off-street parking facilities
are required by the Buildin,g Zone ordinance, the Building
Official' s consent will not be necessary. Should the
Building Official, in his discretion, deny a permit for
the construction of said garage, the applicant may then
apply to the Council of the City of Saint Paul for such .
permit.
Section 2 .
This ordinance sha.11 take effect and be in force thirty (30)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication.
