Section 24.04 of the Saint P�.ul Legislative Code is hereby amended by the amendment of Section A and the addition of Sections C and D: "A. Installations. It is unlawful for any person to insta. or cause to be installed, in the City of Saint Paul, any incinerator which does not comply with the re uirements of the Buildin Code of the Cit of aint au or t e ir o ution o�itro egu ations containe in apter 44�5A of the Saint Paul Legislative Code." � �c �c �c � � "C. It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell or cause to be sold in the City of Saint Paul, an incinerator which does not comply with the requirements of the Building Code of the City of Saint Paul or the Air Pollution Control Regulations contained in Chapter 445A of the Sgint Paul Legislative Code. Chapter 18 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code is hereby amended by the addition of Section 18. 12: "18.12. Prohibited Sales. 1. Prohibition. It is unlawful for any persan, firm or corporation to sell, or cause to be sold, in the City of Saint Paul, a gas water heater or gas space heater which cannot be in- stalled in the City of Saint Paul because said heater does not comply with the requirements of the Building Code of the City of Saint Paul. In defense of any prosecution for a violation here- under, it shall be a valid defense that defendant made reasonable and diligent inquiry into the location of the intended installation of the heater and determined, upon evidence sufficient to con- vince a prudent person, that such installation was going to be located outside the limits of the City of Saint Paul. - � ' .
