That Chapter 475 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code is hereby r pealed by substituting in lieu thereof the followiMg Sections 4 5.01 to 475.04: "CHAPTER 475. DI5SEMINATION OF INDECEPiT MATERIALS TO MINORS. 475.01. Definitions. (l) As used in this Chapter, the terms defined in this Section shall have the following meanings ascribed to them: � (a) "Minor" means any person under the age of 18 yea rs. (3) Any person who shall violate t�ie �rovisioris of this section shall be guilty of a �misdemeanor. 475.03. Presumption and Defenses. - (1) A person who engages in the conduct proscribed by Section 475.02 is presumed to dfl so with knowl.edge of _ the character and content of the materiai sold or loaned, or the motion picture, show or presentat3:on exhibit�d or to be exhibited. - I (2) In any prosecution for disseminating indecent material to minors, it is an affirmative defense that: (a) The defendant had reasonable cause to believe that the minor involved had reached his eighteenth bir.thday; �nd (b) Such minor exhibited to the defendant a draft card, driver' s license, birth certificate or other official or apparently offici�l document purport- ing to establish that such minor had reached his �eighteenth birthday. 475.04. Exemptions. The follaowing are exempt from criminal or other action hereunder: (a) Recognized and established schoo�s, � churches, museums, medical clinics and physicians, hospitals, public libraries, governmental agencies or quasi govern- mental sponsored organizations, and persons ac�ing in their capacity as employees or agents of s�ch organization.
