An ordinance amend.i.ng Ordinance No. 3250, entitled:
"An adxninistrative ordinance relating to the Civil Service
Commission and the Personnel Office of the City of Saint Paul
approving and adopting rules and regulations necessary to the
administration of the City personnel system on a merit basis, "
approved August 20, 1 q14, as amended.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN;
v
Section 1. That Ord.inance No. 3250, approved August 20, 1914,
as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding to
Section 11 D the following paragraph:
"Section 11 D-RATING OF TESTS
D. Until such time as an employee in the Police or Fire service
has had two annual performance eval�.ations under the provisions
of Section 29, an average of the scheduled. regular n�xnerical
ratings given during the last two years prior to the date of the
exa.mination will be used in determining the service credits on
a promotional examination. Interim or special ratings given �
after January 1 , 1977, will not be considered in determining
the service credits on a promotion examination. The provisions
of this paragraph shall be in effect only until May l5, 1978. "
