of the Saint Paul Legislative Code by in-
creasing the license fee for "on sale"
licenses.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF �SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1.
Section 308.17 of the �aint Paul Legislative Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"308.17. License Fees. The license fee for
an 'on sale' license is hereby fixed for the ear

The licensee must present his original license to the
City Clerk when paying the second half fee due before
August lst, or, in the event licensee applies for a
transfer, said original license must accompany the
application for transfer.
If the licensee applies for a transfer of the
license before August lst of any year, the licensee
must pay the remaining $8��:A9 balance of the license
fee due before the application may e processe .
If, for any reason, the ' on sale' license in
this chapter provided for is revoked by the Council
of the City of Saint Paul, no replacement license
shall be issued until the full license fee for the new
license due for the rema.inder of the license year
is first paid; provided, however, tha.t in no event
shall a licensee pay less t�an the st�.�+.-e�-6e�en�ee�
H�.r�d�eel-F����-�e��s.�e-E$�;��8=ee� a licable annual
license fee to ether with the a lica� e issuance
tax or a icense, or com ination o icenses, uring
a Ticens e year.
The license fee for an ' off sale' license is
hereby fixed at the sum of One Thousand Dollars
($1,000.00) .
Where a license is granted and a period of less
than one (1) year rema.ins before the license shall
expire, one-twelfth (1/12) of the annual license fee
shall be charged for each month or fraction of a
month of one-half or more rema.ining after the said
license is granted and before the said license shall
expire."
