WHEREAS, The Ciry of Saint Paul benefitted from hosting the world class America's Smithsonian
E�ibit from October 16, through November 14, 1996, and;
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paui Citizen Service Office assisted in promoting the Smithsonian
E�ibit and researched the e�ibiYs impact on Saint Paul, and;
WHEREAS, the cost for meals for volunteers at $902.50, the marching band for the kick-off event at
$400.00, signs for bus parking at $458.43, exit interviews at $1368.00 and photo albums at $88.73 be
paid, and;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city o�cials are autharized to pay amounts totaling
$3,717.66 to these vendars.
