An ordinance amending Section 152.02 of
the Legislative Code establishing a six-
month taxicab license.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1.
That Section 152.02 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code is

hereby amended to read as follows :
152.02. License Required. No per�on, firm, co—
partnership, corporation or association shall use, op—
erate or keep for pay or hire, within the limits of
the City of St. Paul, any public vehicle without first -
obtaining a public vehicle license so to do, as herein
provided.
No public vehicle license shall hereafter be issued _
unless the City Council, after a hearing, shall by res-
olution declare that public convenience and necessity
require the proposed public vehicle service for which
application for a license is made.
The Citv Council may bv resolution determine that,
the public convenience and necessity require a crreater

(6) month period shall expire on April 15 and mav be
renewed on the followinq October 15 without an addi-
tional findina of necessitv if all other rer�uirements
of this chapter are fulfilled.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect thirty (30)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication.
