A legislative ordinance prohibiting various
types of conduct on vehicles of public conveyance.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1.
That there is hereby enacted a chapter of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code to be entitled "Disrupting or Impeding the
Safe Operation of Vehicles of Public Conveyance'' which shall
read as follows:
Section _.Ol. Definitions. A "public conveyance"
is any motor vehicle which transports members of the
public at large from place to place in consideration of
the payment of a fare.
Section _.02. Prohibited Activities. Any person,
while in or on a public conveyance, who uses or operates �
any radio, tape player, or other electronic device (ex-
cluding radios operated by the personnel of the public
conveyance for official business) ; or who consumes food
or beverages; or who litters; or who takes any action
which disrupts or impedes the safe operation thereof
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

Section 2.
This ordinance shall be deemed a part of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code and shall be incorporated therein and be given
an appropriate chapter and/or section number at the time of the
next revision of said Legislative Code.
Section 3.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication.
