License which requires Council approval . I am requesting that it be re-
classified as a Class II License under Chapter 390 subject to the procedure
therein - approval by the Director of the Department of Finance and Manage-
ment Services.

PUR�'C�SE �iD RATZONA7sE r^OR THIS ACTION: Presently the Director of Finance &
Managemeri� Services approves all short term auctioneer license applications. The
City Gouncal presently approves both yearly and/or daily auctioneer license applica-
tions. Because this license is generally non-controvsial in:nature,�abut routine, I
o am requesting that the Director of Finance & Management approve all Auctioneer
Licenses whether they be yearly or short term.
