THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1 That Section 11. 01 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code entitled "Market established; location, " is hereby amended by striking certain provisions contained therein and replacing instead and in lieu thereof the following: 11. 01. Market established; location. Ordin�nce Ordinance N 0. ` `� / �� Presented By Referred To Committee: Date Out of Committee By Date Section 2 That Chapter 11 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code is hereby amended by the addition of a new 5ection 11.19 entitled "Lease of Market" to read as follows: 11. 19. Lease of Market. The City of 5aint Paul pursuant to Section 51. 01 (9) of the Saint Paul Administrative Code may lease or cause the Market to be sublet to an individual or individuals, group or groups, organization or organiza- tions, on such conditions as deemed appropriate by the City, provided however that the Market may not be used for anv- thing other than the purposes a5 specifically provided in Chapter 11, and provided further that the Lessee of the Market shall be liable and responsible for the ayment of any and all taxes, special assessments, or service charges of �ahatever nature accruing during the term of the Lease and which is imposed against the Market. Section 3 That in all other respects Chapter 11 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code shall remain in effect. Section 4 That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after passage and publication but shall be retroactive as of May l, 1982. 2.
