An ordinance amending Section 361. 16
of the Saint Paul Legislative Code to
permit administrative scheduling of
service vehicle inspections .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1
Section 361 . 16 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code is hereby
amended to read as follows :
"361. 16. Annual Ins ection of Equipment.

�� as ee�. thoroughly and carefully examined at
least once every calendar year by the divisiori
�cense and permit administration or authorized
representative thereof ar�d �exxd �e ee�g�� to
determine whether it complies with the following:
(1) To be thoroughly safe for the providing
of any of the types of services des-
cribed in the classifications in this
chapter.
(2) To be equipped with a 2AlOBC or larger
fire extinguisher, as approved by the
fire marshal , properly charged and in
good working order at all times .

(3) To be clean in appearance and well painted.
(4) To have the operating name, address , and
telephone number affixed in a permanent
manner on the outer side of each of the
front doors of the vehicle or on the side
of the vehicle in letters of not less than
three inches in height.
The Council m� take adverse action against the license
i ss ue or a� service vehicle which is not inspected in
accor ance with t�is section, which does not meet the
requirements above , or which is not made available for
inspection at the request of the Inspector. "
Section 2
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty days
after its passage, approval and publication.
