ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER,
WHEREAS, the proper care of children is a major goal of the City of Saint
Paul; and
WHEREAS, the staff inembers of some departments have the occasion to observe
instances of possible child abuse; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to train these employees to deal effectively with
these incidents,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City will contract with a trained
facilitator who wili insure that a meeting between City staff and professionals
in the field of child abuse will be successful. Payment will be limited to
$500.00 and shall be made to The Success Connection.

Due to scheduling problems, it was not possible to provide a City person who had the skills
to facilitate a meeting on how staff in Parks and Recreation should deal with incidents
that appeared to be child abuse.
