98-646Council File # � � y � Green Sheet # 3 o�.�y� RESOLUTION CITX OF SAINT PAUL, MtNNESOTA Presented By Re£erred To Committee: Date Whereas, Ramsey County Fair will be staged from July 15, through July 19, 1998 and is an attractive and vital asset to the vibrancy of our community, and Whereas, the Fair has generously offered admission to the boat rides, admission boat races, and assorted food stuffs to the Mayor, Council and various city staff inembers, and Whereas, it is important for the city to continue its collaborative efforts with the County of Ramsey and the Fair to promote our community as an attractive and viable place in which to work and live, now therefore be it, Resolved, that the Council of the City of St. Paui hereby accepts the generous invitations extended by the Fair appropriates to the Mayor, Council and various staff, the invitations for their usage, and Further Resolved, that the Council declares a public purpose in the city's acceptance of these gifts as a part of the continuing effort to enhance the quality of life in our community and strengthen bonds with community activities and events.
