RESOLVED, that upon the petition of the City of Saint Paul ,
per Finance Department File No. 10-1991 that part of Wyoming
Street lying between Gorman Avenue and a point approximately 300
feet east of Robert Street,� hereinafter described , is hereby
vacated and discontinued as public property.
The vacated area is described as follows:
All that part of East Wyoming Street as originally
platted , which adjoins lots 1 and 8 , Block 3 , St.
Pierre and Lawton' s Addition to St . Paul; and
also adjoins lots 1 through 6 , Block 3 Hornsby' s
Subdivision of Lot 7 , Bidwell' s Addition to West
St. Paul and that part of Block G, West St. Paul
Proper , south of north line of Belvidere Street;
and also adjoins lots 1 through 6, Block 3 , Sauer ' s
Addition to St. Paul; and also adjoins lots 5 and
6 , Block 3 Cushing' s Addition, all which lie south
of the south line of Wyoming Street as opened by
the authority of the Board of Public Works , Volume 15 ,
Page 206 , dated March 27 , 1887 .
This vacation shall be subject to the following conditions :
1. That this vacation shall be subject to all the terms
and conditions of Chapter 130 , codified March 1, 1981
of the St. Paul Legislative Code as amended .
2 .� That a permanent utility easement be retained within
the vacated area to protect the interests of U. S.
West .

The City Council has referred to this office for recommendation
the petition of The City of Saint Paul for the vacation of a
strip of East Wyoming Street as originally platted and lying
south of the south line of Wyoming Street as opened in 1887
and bounded by Gorman Street and a point 382 feet east of Robert
Street . The purpose of this vacation is to eliminate the residue
area of the original platted street which resulted from the later
opening of Wyoming Street in 1887 .
Will you please advise me of any existing utility easements or of
any concerns over the intended future use of this proposed
vacation. I would like to receive your comments before September
25 , 1991 so I can prepare a report to the City Council on this
matter. Please refer to our file number when replying .
