1 WHEREAS, Minnesota Laws of 1998, Chapter 404, Section 7,
2 Subdivision 23 contains an appropriation to the Metropolitan Council
3 for Regional Trails development grants, including a grant to the City
4 of Saint Paul for trailhead amenities in the Harriet Island Pavilion
5 area,
6 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint
7 Paul, that the Mayor and proper City officials are hereby authorized
8 to execute agreements with the Metropolitan Council to accept and
9 implement said grant, and

the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that the 1998
