WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada wishes to train its fire
fighters at Saint Paul Fire's Training facility and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Fire Department is capable of
providing such a service as time at the facility is available and
WHEREAS, many. local communities have a need for such a service and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Department wishes to provi.de such
services on a contract basis
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are
hereby authorized and directed to execute agreements with the City
of Little Canada for the providing of the Department's Training
facility, copies of said agreements to be kept on file and record
in the Department of Finance and Management Services.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between the City of
Saint Paul Department of Fire and Safety Services (hereafter Saint
Paul Fire) and City of Little Canada (hereafter Little Canada) .
�HEREAS, Saint Paul and Little Canada wish to detail the terms of
use of Saint Paul Fire's training facility at 1683 Kasota Street,
Saint Paul, MN by Little Canada;
WHEREAS, the parties have hereinafter set forth the terms of said
use by Little Canada.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed by and between the parties as
follows:
1. By prior arrangement with Saint Paul Fire Chief, the
Little Canada Fire Department may use the training
facilities for fire fighters located at Saint Paul 's Fire
Training Center located at 1683 Kasota Street, Saint
Paul, Minnesota.
2 . Saint Paul will make such training structures and devices
available to Little Canada during evening and weekend
hours on the dates requested by Little Canada subject to
Saint Paul 's own prior commitments.
3 . Little Canada will pay Saint Paul the amount of one
hundred and fifty dollars ($150. 00) per three (3) hour
training session. Sessions shall be held quarterly or
more often as determined by Little Canada as approved by
Saint Paul as to the precise dates.
4. Facilities designated for Little Canada' s use shall be
the Drill Tower, the Burn Simulation Building, the
Haz/Mat Training Pads, the Pump Test Pit, and a
Classroom.
5. Little Canada agrees to defend and hold Saint Paul
harmless from any claims which may be made against Saint
Paul in any way resulting from use of the structures,
devices, and apparatus described above by Little Canada
except for any claims resulting from negligence on the
part of Saint Paul. Little Canada will pay Saint Paul 's
reasonable attorney's fees, costs, and disbursements
incurred as a result of any claims brought arising out
of said use.
6. This agreement will continue in full force and effect
until such time as it is canceled by either party by
giving sixty (60) days written notice to the other party
of cancellation.
