98-587Council File # �_�p ! oR���N�� Presented By Referred To Green Srieet � a /V RESOLUTION CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Committee: Date �3 1 WHEREAS, the City Employee Services Committee is preparing for the annual Employee Picnic 2 to be held the evening of August 5, 1998 at Como Park, and 3 4 5 6 7 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 WHEREAS, it is traditional for local businesses and unians to contribute funds, goads or services to be awarded to employees who attend the picnic and make their names available to be selected through random drawings in order to encourage employees to attend the picnic; and RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council requests and accepts donations from azea merchants, unions and others to have available for random drawings at the Employee Picnic to be held on Augast 5, 1498 and that such donations shall be deemed to be gifts to the city of Saint Paul; and be it Fi7RTHER RESOLVED, that such donations shall be deemed to be donations to the City within the meaning of section 41.03 of the Administrative Code, and in compliance with all the requirements of chapter 41 of the Admisnistrative Code / Yeas _ Nays_ Absent Requested by Department of: B -� Form A oved by City Attorney Bv: �G� ����w°l�..
