RESOLUTION APPROVING IMPLEMENTATION OF ACTIVITIES
AS PART OF THE 3RD CYCLE URBAN REVITALIZATION ACTION PROGRAM �
WHEREAS, on March 2, 1991 the Council of the City of Saint Paul did
amend by Resolution 91-304 the Urban Revitalization Action Program (URAP)
Guidelines. The amendment requires City Council approval for "each action
involving a loan, grant or other third party transaction, and every action to
acquire, demolish, improve or dispose of real property." ; and
WHEREAS, St. Paul Tenants Union, has entered into an Agreement with the
City of Saint Paul to implement a portion of the URAP program, and do hereby
wish to commence with the implementation of activities in accordance with the
Agreement and the adopted URAP Guidelines, as amended; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Mayor, the Council of the
City of Saint Paul does hereby approved the implementation of URAP activities
as described in the attached document entitled "URAP Project Activitv/
Implementation Schedule.

On March 2, 1991 by Resolution #91-304, the Council required organizations implementing
URAP projects to obtain approval by the Council prior to cor,imencing loans, grants and
other third party transactions. Approval of this Resolution will provide the
authorization to proceed.
ADVANTAGES IF APPROVEO:
With the URAP activities or identified CSP will be able to proceed with the
ir.iplementation of their approved URAP Program activities.
