RESOLUTION
CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA � �

WHEREAS, various commercial enterprises generously donated various gifts in the furtherance
of a holiday party held at the downtown Central Library, and
WHEREAS, the enterprises wanted to acl�owledge the excellent work of Library staff in
maldng it the user-friendly facility that the City takes pride in by servicing Library patrons and the
public, now, therefore be it;
RFSOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby accepts these thoughtful gifts and
appropriates them to the Library's usage, and
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Council declares a public purpose in such an appropriarion in
promoting good relations between the public and private sectors.
