enacted to regulate the subject of noise in ;f�e City of Saint

WHEREAS, �293.11 provides for the g nting of variances from
the sound level limitations contained i§293.09, upon a finding
by the City Council that full complian e with Chapter 293 would
constitute an unreasonable hardship o an applicant, other •
persons or on the community; and
WHEREAS, COMPASS, Inc., repr sented by Dwight Dario, General
Manager, who has been designate as the responsible person on the
application, has applied for a ariance to allow live music at
Harriet Island, on July 9, 19 ; and
WHEREAS, applicant is eeking a variance for the hours of
2:00 p.m. to 1�:0� p.m. o Ju1y 9, 1998; and
WHEREAS, if applic t is not granted a variance it will not
be able to present the ive music; and
WHERBAS, the Of ice of License, Inspections, and
Environmental Prote tion has reviewed the application and has
made recommendati s regarding conditions for the variance; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, hat the Council of the City of Saint Pau1 hereby
grants a vari ce to COMPASS, Inc., subject to the following
conditions:
1) � he variance shall be for the hours of 2:00
