THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DbES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 13534, approved January 31, 1967, is hereby
amended by adding the following to Section 1 thereof: '

Residents of the above-mentioned alley submitted a petition signed by 95 lo of the property owners. They
want to restrict the number of vehicles using the alley. These vehicles av id signals at Case arid White
Bear. Residents plan on purchasing a"Speed Umit 10" sign to slow traffi because there are many
children and eldetiy people in the alley. Traffic is too heavy now, with 7- unit apartmer�t builtlings and
some businesses. During the wirrter months,#raf�ic cannot get up the hitl proaching White Bear Ave.

1) Reduce hazards related to slippery hill. '�� '
2) �crease in volume and speed of vehicles using alley. '�
3) Make alley safer for pedestrians.
4) Decrease cost Qf"Speed Limit 10" signs to property owners.

Access to alley available at White Bear end only. Some people will like violate. A few citations may
be issued. Other citizens may want one-way alley Citizens may thlnk al ey is safer.
