WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Division of Parks and Recrea ion holds a 3.2 beer
and wine license for the City's Harriet Island Park; and
WHEREAS, Section 19, Chapter 554, Minnesota Laws 199 : pur��r�nt to
Minnesota Statutes 1988, Chapter 654.021 allows the Divisio� of,.�;a�lcs and
Recreation, with City Council approval , to sell wine and .2. be�r�'�at events
sponsored by the Division of Parks and Recreation; and i
WHEREAS, the Division of Parks and Recreation is spon or9ng V��'t�tlteer Fest
'91 at Harriet Island Park on Thursday, August 22, 1991 fr m 5:OQ p t��;, �� 10:00
p.m. as a thank you to the many volunteers who serve the D'visioi� of���' and
Recreation. ,�r
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Division of Par�CS and Recr�exry may
sell 3.2 beer and wine at its Volunteer Fest '91 using thellicenses �ha� �,
Division holds under the following terms and conditions:
1. Sales may occur between 5:00 .m. and 9:30 .m. �i "``'

2. That prudent care will be taken to insure that all sales are made to
persons age 21 and over. �
