This action is the result of a compensation study requested by �the Divisic���of Parks and
Recreation to determine if the position of Recreation Center Di�ector, assi ned to manage
Watergate Marina, was properly classified. The Classification nd Compensa�Division
of the Office of Personnel and Labor Relations conducted a stud�y and recommends kreation
of a title and classification appropriate for this position. N� current class exists that
describes the. work required. of this position, or that requires combination of business
background and experience managing a retail sales and repair op�ration.

salary cost would initially be approximately 5� based on t e Civil `
Service Rules/procedures for salary increases upon promoti n. Based �
