Mr. Buron was a parts runner for the ::_ . Department of Public Works and was driving a C'ty of St. Paul ' pickup truck at the time of the accident. While e was stopped at a stop light another pickup truck, driven by Jef rey Freisen who was readin a ma at the time of the accident a d travellin 30 ADVANTAGES�qgoveohit the vehicle driven by Mr. Buron from the rear. Mr. Freisen was not insured. Mr. Buron injured his ack and received a 3.5� disability rating from the City's doctor. The City was successful in an action which it br ught against the driver of the other vehicle. However, Mr. Fre'sen has left the State of Minnesota and his whereabouts is p esently unknown. Pursuant to statute, the City is required to rovide uninsured o�snovnr,rnoWeA are �required to step into the shoes of Mr. F eisen and defend his actions.
