Now therefore be it RESOLVED, by the City of Saint Paui that the City authorizes the Department of Public Works to apply for a$4.6 million loan from the State's Public Facilities Authority; and Be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul act as legal sponsor for projects contained in the loan application and that the Director of Public Works, or her designate, is hereby authorized to apply to the Deputment of Trade and Economic Development for funding of this project on behalf of the City of Saint Paul; and Be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul has the legal authority to apply for financial assistance and the institutional, managerial and financial capability to ensure adequate construction, operation, maintenance of the proposed projects for their design life; and Be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that Saint Paul has not violated any Federal, State or Local iaws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or other unlawful or corrupt practice;and Be it FINALLY RESOLVED, that npon approval of its application by the state, the City of Saint Faul may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above referenced projects and that the City of Saint Paul certifies that it wi11 comply with all appIicable laws and regulations as stated on all contract agreements and described on the Compliances Checklist of the loan application.
