references to sexual or affectional orientation, and I �roceeded to
verify the signatures. The petition requires the signaqures of eight
percent of the votes cast for Mayor at the last city ele�ction and
eight percent of 63,981 is 5,118 signatures. The petiti�on contains
5,462 valid signatures. I
