WHEREAS, It has become necessary to make a change in the location for
the polling place within District 5 - Precinct 14; and .
WHEREAS, The present polling location at the American Legion Post �6533,
965 Kilburn Street, is going through an impending sale and will not be
available for elections due to the purpose and use of the building by the
new owners,we must therefore move the polling place to another building.
RESOLVED, That for the following precinct the elections shall be held
at the place designated within the precinct boundary in accordance with
the Minnesota Election Laws and after approval shall be designated as the
. official polling location for District 5 - Precinct 14;
ORCHARD RECREATION CENTER
875 ORCHARD AVENUE
Postal notification shall be sent to all affected registered voters making
them aware of their proper polling location due to the changes made.

The sale of the building currently being used as a polling location for
District 5 - Precinct 14 (American Legion Post ��533) will be transformed
into a business that will not have surplus space for us to use on election
day for a polling place.
ADVANTAOES IF APPROVED:
We will have a close City facility that is accessible and stable for the
voters in District 5 - Precinct 14 to use as their polling place.
DISADVANTAOES IF APPROVED:
We will have to inform all affected voters by sending postal notifications.
Funds are already in the current budget to pay for this tqpe of change.
DISADVANTAOES IF NOT APPROVED:
We will be unable to provide the voters in that precinct with an accessible
and familiar polling location.

This is to notify you that your current polling location, AMERICAN LEGION
POST #533 BUILDING, is being sold and will no longer be available to use
on Election Day for voting. Therefore your new polling place will be:

The Primary Election date is September 10, 1991 - the General Election
date is November 5, 1991. You will be voting for the Councilmember
representing your District and for Board of Education members. We thank
