Two experienced employees, Judy Hanson and Tara Patet, have requested that the Employer consider them for a job-share arrangement in the critninal division of the City Attorney's Office. The Employer and AFSCME-I.egal have no objection to such an arrangement and agree to the following Amendment: The Employer will attempt to provide options for implementing a job-sharing arrangement for 7udy Hanson and Tara Patet. Such an anangement must be mutually agreed upon by the Employer and the employees involved. Vacation, holiday and sick leave benefits for the employees who share a position shall be pro- rated based upon the percent of hours worked. Health insurance benefits shall be administered in accordance with the provisions of Article 12 of the Agreement. In the event that one of the employees participating in the shared position is terminated or terminates employment, the Employer, after ten (10) days notice, shall have the option of increasing the remaining empioyee's work hours. Neither this Amendment nor any of the mutually agreed upon terms of the job-sharing anangement shall be subject to the grievance provisions of Article 7 of the Agreement. The parties agree that this Amendment acts only as an Amendment to the Agreement as it relates to the above-referenced individuals.
