The Civic Center needs this Cransfer in funds for the following reasons:
• 1. The Civic Center will be renting a sound system for the MN Moose instead
of purchasing a new one as was planned when the 1995 budget was prepared.
2. The Civic Center has used its computer consultant to a greater extent
than was budgeted. The consultant is preparing a program so that the Civic
Centers rental books can be put on computer.
3. The Civic Center is now running its own box office which has required a
great increase in office supplies that are necessary to run a box office.
Also, additional employees were added to the administrative offices and new
supplies were needed for them.
