That the costs of demolition and removal of this building(s) is estimated to exceed three thousand dollars ($3,000.00). 3. That there now exists and has existed multiple Housing or Building code violations at the Subject Property. 4. That an Order to Abate Nuisance Building(s) was sent to the then known responsible parties to correct the deficiencies or to demolish and remove the building(s). 5. That the deficiencies causing this nuisance condition have not been conected. 6. That Public Health has posted a placard on the Subject Property which declares it to be a nuisance condition subject to demolition. 7. That this buiiding has been routinely monitored by the Vacant/Nuisance Buildings Code Enforcement Program. 8. That the known interested parties and owners are as previously stated in this resolution and that the notification requirements of Chapter 45 have been fulfilled. An Order to Abate a Nuisance Building was issued on August 14, 1996. During that month, Richard Larson said that Amoco is taking bids on the demolition. The vacant building registration fees and real estate taxes are paid. The estimated cost to demolish the building is $14,000. The cost to repair is unknown. Tlus Public Health resolution orders the properiy owner to repair or remove the building within fifteen days or the Public Health Department will demolish it. Richard Larson, representing Amoco, appeared and stated a representative from Clucago is taking care of this properry. Mr. Larson's instructions were to take the building down at one point. He was later told to wait because there was a potential buyer. The roof leaks and will cost $4,000 to repair, but the building is solid. Gerry Strathman recommended approval of the 15 day order to repair or remove the building. 130 132 Winifred Street West/4R9 Bidwell treet No one appeared. Chuck Votel reported there have been 21 summary abatement notices on the properry. The real estate taJCes are unpaid in the amount of $7,277.77. The estimated cost to demolish is $15,500.
