That the above recitals are incorporated herein by reference. 2. That this agreement may be terminated without cause at any time by thirty (30) days written notice from one above named Office to the other. That any employee sent from one Office to the other shall remain the employee of the sending Office but shall work under the direction and control of the receiving Office. 4. That each employee sent and received hereunder shall first be acknowledged by an exchange of letters between the Offices for the purpose of calculating length of service under this agreement. That each Office reserves the right to reject the services of an employee from the other Office upon twenty-four (24) hours notice and such rejection shall not constitute a termination of this agreement. < ry8 —'�� � 6. During the duration of this Agreement, RCAO shall reimburse SPPD for 100 percent of salary and related fringe benefit costs, on a monthly basis. 7. During the duration of this Agreement, SPPD shall maintain the necessary workers' compensation and unemployment insurance as required by law as it affects exchanged employees. SPPD shall pay ali benefits as required by the Ylinnesota Statutes, Chapter 176. 8. Nothin� in this Agreement, explicitly or implicitly, shall be construed to be an offer or promise of permanent employment as to any employee exchanged. 9. SPPD will submit invoices monthly which will be paid within thirty (30) days of receipt. Final invoices at the end of each fiscal yeaz (the month of December) will be submitted no later than January 31 of each calendaz yeaz. 10. That this Agreement is subject to the provisions of Minn. Stat. § 15.51 to 15.59, which authorizes the interchange of government employers.
