WHEREAS, the Cities of Minneapoiis and Saint Paul have participated in the
United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Lead Hazard
Reduction Research Project from October �, 1994 to May 3�, �997; and
WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development has expressed its interest in funding foilow-up activities to
gather further data on iead reduction; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has been designated as the fiscal agent for
the follow-up activities by the United States Department of Housing and
Urban Development;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council does accept the terms of
this contract, allowing the Saint Paut Lead Hazard Control Program, acting
as the fiscal agent, to reimburse tne City of Minneapolis for fotlow-up lead
activities associated with the United States Department of Housing and
Urban Development Lead Hazard Reduction Research Project.
