Last Decembei, the City Council passed ResoLufion 97-1421 amending Chapter 42 of the Saint Paul Legislarive Code regazding certain nuisance
dwellings. In theit budget delibetations, Council also added $90,000 in a Council Contingeney code in Activity 05113, Ptoperiy Code Enforcement,
to be used for enduonmental housing inspection. This resolution would move the money out of contingency into proper budget codes so that
spending to implement the program can proceed.
The program foc enforcement of health and safety eodes in non-owner occupied 1 and 2 faznily dwellings can proceed.
