WHEREAS the City Council passed a resolution (C.F. 97-883) regazding the abatement
of a nuisance building located at 855 Woodbridge Street in the City of Saint Paul which was
adopted on July 9, 1997, and provided in pertinent part that Public Health would demolish the
structure if the properry owners did not make all repairs necessary for code compliance by
January 1, 1998; and
WHEREAS vacant building inspectors are now authorized to proceed to demolition
because of the owner's failure to comply fully with the Council's abatement order; and
VJHEREAS the properry owner of the above-referenced property has made significant
progress in rehabilitaring the property;
BE IT RESOLVED, resolurion, Council File Number 97-883, which was passed July 9,
1997, requiring rehabilitation or demolition of the real properry located at 855 Woodbridge Street
shaIl be amended in part as followed:
WI3EREA5, a hearing was held before the Legislauve Hearing Officer of the Saint Paul
City Council on Tuesday, July 1, 1997 to hear testimony and evidence, and after receiving
testimony and evidence, made the recommendation to approve the request to order the Interested
or responsible parties to make the Subject Property safe and not detrimental to the public peace,
health, safety and welfare and remove its blighting influence on the commutrity by rehabilitafing
this structure in accordance with all applicable codes and ozdinance, or in the alternative by
demolishing and removing the structure in accordance with a11 applicable codes and ordinances.
The rehabilitation or demolition of the structure to be completed , ,
, , within one hundred eight�(1801 days after the passing of
this resolution;
WHEREAS, the prope�ty owner of Sub�' ect Pro�ertv roosted a$2.000 �erformance bond.

The Saint Paul City Council hereby makes the following order:
The above referenced interested or responsible parties shall make the Subject Properry
safe and not detrimental to the public peace, health, safety and welfaze and remove its
blighting influence on the community by rehabilitating this structure and correcting all
deficiencies as prescribed in the above referenced Order to Abate Nuisance Buildings(s)
in accordance with all applicable codes and ordinances, or in the alternative by
demolishing and removing the struchue in accordance with all applicable codes and
