WHEREAS, the Department of Public Worlcs has awarded a contract for construc[ion of the Phalen Wetland
Restoration prqect, and
WHEREAS, this work was originally adopted by City Council Resolution 95-1477, known as Log #SU-55022, and
further amended by Ciry Council Resolution 97-679, and
WHEREAS, the Port Authority has agreed to pay the City $38,000 to this project to mitigate wetland losses
at Arlington Industrial Park, and
WHEREAS, the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District will contribute $100,000 to this project, so
THEREFORE BE 17 RESOLVED, by the Council of the Ciry oi Saint Paul, upon recommendation oi the Mayor and advice oi the Long
Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that the Capital Improvement Budget, as heretofore adopted and amended
by this Council is hereby further amended in following particular.

original budgeted overstated the State Grant funding by $1Q000. This resolution adds these two funding sources tate Grant
funding.
