� WHEREAS, Donald Juenemann, a long-time City employee lost his life on December 24, 1997, while performing
z his duties as an Inspector with the Division of Code Enforcement; and

a WHEREAS, many of Mr. Juenemann's co-workers, who are also City of Saint Paul employees, attended the funerai
s service and reception at the Church of Saint Pascal; and

� WHEREAS, the cost of this reception and service should not be bome solely by the Juenemann family; and

s WHEREAS, radios are needed to ensure that Housing Code Enforcement inspectors are able to communicate
io with the Communications Center to obtain immediate assistance in case of an emergency; and

tiz WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to sec. 10.07.04 of the City Charter does certify that there are unemcumbered
�a 1998 appropriation balances available for transfer ; and
